Utilizing high peak energy pulses, the laser penetrates tissue for ultra-short nanoseconds to shatter pigment particles. The 1064nm wavelength targets black and blue pigments, while the 532nm wavelength removes red, pink, and brown pigments without damaging normal tissue.
